Let me first introduce you to the Omuriro firelighters, which are actually fire starters for the wood used in barbeques/braai‘s or fireplaces:
These firelighters are handmade in and around the small town of Omaruru and consist only of chipped invader bush (85%), non-toxic wax (10%) and cotton twine (5%) - hence a ‘green’ product when compared to machine-manufactured paraffin/petroleum-based firelighters (see attached document and the video link below).
Omuriro firelighters are packed in boxes of 6s and 12s with no plastic in the packaging to confirm its claim of being a green product and thus eco-friendly:
